Financial Service Representative at Earthmover Credit Union – Montgomery, Illinois

We are currently looking for a Financial Service Representative to deliver exceptional customer service at our new Montgomery Branch. As the first point of contact for members, you'll assist with their financial needs and address any questions they may have. Your role will be crucial to the success of ECU, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our members.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding customer service to all members
• Process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers
• Educate members on our products and services
• Open new accounts and assist with loan applications
• Reconcile cash drawer daily
• Address and resolve member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
• Adhere to procedures and protocols to maintain the security of member information and funds

Schedule/Location:

• Available Monday thru Friday 8:45 to 5 (at times 6).
• Available Saturday’s 7:45 am to 1 pm
• Willing to work at any of our 5 locations (Oswego, Batavia, Yorkville, Aurora and Montgomery)

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
• Ability to become certified as a notary within 12 months
• Licensed through the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) or the ability to obtain.
• Previous experience in a credit union or banking setting is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in cash handling
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
