Description
Endeavor Health Services is seeking a full-time Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) to provide direct clinical care, assessments, and recovery support for individuals with substance use disorders. This role includes rapid access services, individual and group counseling, and care coordination within a multidisciplinary team.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct pre-admission screenings and determine appropriate level of care
- Complete substance use disorder assessments and develop treatment plans
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling
- Deliver person-centered, strengths-based, and harm reduction care
- Maintain accurate documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Coordinate care with medical staff, case managers, and referral sources
- Conduct discharge planning and follow-up outreach
- Connect the people we serve with community resources and recovery supports
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Travel locally between program sites as needed
- Maintain CASAC certification and complete required trainings
What You’ll Need
Required:
- Valid CASAC certification
Preferred:
- Experience in substance use disorder treatment
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Compensation & Benefits
- $24.13 – $30.16/hour (based on education, experience and credentials)
- $2,500 sign-on bonus
