The Reports and Assessments Staff Officer III will support the HUMINT & Sensitive Activities Directorate within the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW(I&S)). This role involves preparing and staffing reports, analyzing data, and supporting the coordination of sensitive activities.

Responsibilities:

Report Preparation and Analysis:

  • Lead the preparation and staffing of DoW quarterly reports and briefings on sensitive activities for Congress and Executive Branch Senior Leaders. This includes tasks such as collecting, compiling, editing, reviewing, approving, producing, and delivering reports and briefings.

Meeting Coordination:

  • Coordinate, convene, and facilitate meetings, working groups, and the Sensitive Activities Executive Council (SA-EXCON) by preparing and disseminating agendas, read-ahead materials, attendee rosters, and meeting minutes.

Data Analysis and Visualization:

  • Analyze and evaluate large data sets, developing data analytics and visualization tools to identify trends, anomalies, and provide data-informed assessments and decision-making support.
  • Develop, update, and maintain data-analytic dashboards using tools like Kibana to interpret historical data, predict future performance, and drive executive-level decision-making.

Methodology Development:

  • Identify methodologies and statistical methods to find patterns and relationships in large volumes of government-classified structured and unstructured data sets.

Support and Collaboration:

  • Support government-led production of analysis, assessments, reporting, and briefings for specific activities, enabling data-informed oversight and decision support for senior DoW and Executive Branch officials, and Congressional Staff members.
  • Collaborate with software capability, security developers, and program managers using Agile and traditional development methodologies to enable and support delivery of data collection, analysis, and reporting objectives.

Strategy and Policy Support:

  • Support the development, review, revision, and oversight of strategy, policy, and legislation related to DoW sensitive activities.
  • Maintain historical record files related to sensitive activities reporting and related legislation.

*This position is designed to be flexible, with responsibilities evolving to meet business needs and enable individual growth.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience producing reports and briefings in DoW or the Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience using data analysis tools to produce reports.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience preparing reports for Congressional briefings.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a high-stakes environment and manage multiple priorities.
