General Pediatrics Physician at Pediatric Associates – Bakersfield, California

Coastal Kids is seeking a Per Diem Pediatrician to provide coverage in Bakersfield, California. Build a path to your future with the largest pediatric practice in the nation!

Position Overview:

• Per Diem opportunity in Bakersfield for an Outpatient Pediatrician
• Our per diem clinicians help support the other clinicians by filling in for them while out on leave or PTO; allowing them to enjoy the work-life balance all of our clinicians have come to appreciate.

Education, Licesnure & Certification:

M.D. or D.O. degree required

• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of California
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of California
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required

The expected base salary range for this position, located in Bakersfield, CA is $125/hour. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Pediatric Associates offers are based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate’s education, work experience, and certifications, all of which are dependent on the requirements of the specific role.
