Position: Urgent Care Staff Physician
Location: Bakersfield, CA
1099: Full-time, Part-time, & PRN Available
Salary: $150/hour
Bonus: $100,000 Sign-On for Full-Time Only
Stipend: $60,000/year for Medical Directorship

Job Overview: Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care in Bakersfield, CA, for 8 years in a row. We are hiring a Staff Urgent Care Physician with the Advancement of a Medical Directorship in Bakersfield, CA.
Essential Responsibilities:
Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
Full-time is 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts per month, and managing mid-level providers.
Part-time will be a minimum of 6 shifts per month, and managing mid-level providers.
Treat 4 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics (full-spectrum care), in a low-acuity setting.
Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
Equipment: In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray.
All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist, with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
Easy-to-use EMR: Experity with AI Dragon dictation and document all patients in one minute
Minimum Requirements | Qualifications:
Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.)
Completion of a formal Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program
Truly Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
CA Medical License that is active and in good standing
DEA Certificate
