Description:

Position Summary

The Senior IT Systems & Data Analyst reports to the Chief Operating and Financial Officer and serves as a highly hands-on technical expert responsible for developing, building, and maintaining the organization’s internal technology systems. This role focuses on the direct design, implementation, and support of enterprise data systems, business applications, and analytics solutions.

This position is an individual contributor role and does not include people management responsibilities. The Senior Analyst works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions that improve operational efficiency, enable data-driven decision making, and support the company’s digital transformation initiatives.

The role also collaborates with a third-party IT infrastructure provider to support the reliability and performance of core infrastructure services.

We are seeking a Senior IT Systems & Data Analyst to help strengthen our internal technology ecosystem and support data-driven operations across the organization.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain enterprise data architecture and governance frameworks
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and accessibility across departments
  • Manage SQL Server environments including backups, access control, and monitoring
  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and Python
  • Integrate ERP, CRM, and operational systems into a centralized relational data warehouse
  • Build and maintain Power BI data models, dashboards, reports, and paginated reporting solutions
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support internal business applications
  • Build internal tools using Power Apps, Python, and Angular
  • Develop RESTful APIs for system integrations
  • Implement authentication and security standards including OAuth2, JWT, and Azure Key Vault
  • Develop automation workflows for reporting, alerts, and data synchronization
  • Optimize performance across applications, databases, and data pipelines
  • Collaborate with the organization’s third-party IT infrastructure provider on system operations
  • Coordinate system upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery processes
  • Maintain technical documentation, system inventories, and operational procedures

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field

Experience:

5–10 years of professional experience across data engineering, analytics, application development, and enterprise systems

Core Technologies:

SQL Server, Azure, Power BI, Power Apps, Python, Angular

Required Technical Skills

  • Data Engineering & Analytics
  • Advanced T-SQL, data modeling, and data warehouse design
  • ETL development using Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and Python
  • Power BI development including DAX, Power Query, and performance optimization
  • Power Platform including Dataverse and Power Automate
  • Programming & Cloud
  • Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • Python (Flask/FastAPI), REST APIs, JSON
  • Azure services including Azure SQL, App Service, Functions, Blob Storage, and Key Vault
  • Security concepts including OAuth2, JWT, and RBAC

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting SMB manufacturing or distribution environments
  • Microsoft certifications such as PL-300, PL-400, DP-203, or AZ-204
  • CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • Experience integrating platforms such as NetSuite, HubSpot, QuickBooks, or Salesforce
  • Experience embedding Power BI dashboards into internal or client-facing applications
