Serving customers in government & defense, medical, safety & security, energy, industrial, and robotics markets, we are strategically positioned across the Americas, Europe, and Asia to meet the needs of a worldwide customer base.The RoleThe Benefits and Payroll Coordinator is responsible for corporate benefits administration and the processes of the domestic employee weekly and biweekly payroll, payroll taxes and employee benefit payments. Responsibilities include processing time reporting, annual payroll tax reports, employee garnishment and all regulatory requirements. Incumbent will assist the Corporate HR Director with benefits analytical and technical support in the delivery of benefit programs. The individual in this position is an integral member of the Human Resource Team and may assist in other areas/functions of the department as needed such as wellness initiatives, and employee communications. Key Responsibilities:Processes weekly, biweekly payroll and occasional manual checks using ADP.Coordinates the annual W-2 tax reportingEnsures SOX compliance in Payroll related mattersImplements and maintains garnishmentsPrepares weekly payroll journal entries, monthly accruals and intercompany invoicingCompletes employment verificationsAdministers timekeeping system including training on the system, password resets, etc.Registers states for payroll taxesProvides information for audits such as Worker’s Compensation, 401(k), etc.Coordinates and responds to State Unemployment compensation requests.Manages the invoice reconciliation and billing process for payment to benefit providersCoordinates the annual open enrollment activitiesMaintains the administrative procedures for the benefits processesEnsure compliance with applicable government regulations for both benefits and payroll, including timeliness and accuracy on all required filings.Assists with the benefits renewal process, plan design recommendation, analytical support, etc.Provides one on one support and counsel to employees regarding payroll and/or benefitsPrepares standard and ad hoc reports What You Bring:3-5 years of payroll processing and payroll tax reporting experience3-5 years benefits administration requiredExcellent communication and customer service skillsExperience with ADP Workforce NowExperience with Microsoft Excel and WordGreat attention to detail and accuracyAbility to maintain confidentiality of informationAbility to work in a team environmentHigh level of initiative and strong work ethic.
