Why we need you:

As a Packaging (Lead) Operator, you are the driving force behind our packaging operations, ensuring that all products are packaged according to our high standards of quality, while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols.

A Day in the life:

Oversee the packaging process, maintaining a keen eye on quality, GMP, and safety.Develop and manage daily staffing schedules to meet production demands.Generate and analyze shift reports to monitor output and equipment status.Communicate significant departmental issues to your supervisor and suggest solutions.Mentor and lead label operators and packaging workers, enhancing their performance.Detect and report any equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team.Collaborate with fellow operators to ensure seamless shift handovers.Uphold a positive work environment by utilizing strong interpersonal skills.Occasionally provide break relief for other roles within the department.Commitment to extended work hours when necessary to meet production goals.Comply with all company policies, regulatory standards, and safety requirements.Ensure adherence to quality systems and fulfillment of food safety and customer specifications.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent.Forklift License (provided by employer).

Working Relationships:

You will be an integral part of the packaging team, working closely with other department members and leading a group of operators and workers. Your role involves cooperation with other departments and may include supervisory responsibilities over a team.

To successfully perform the essential functions of this role, the employee must be able to:

Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours per shift).Frequently bend, stoop, twist, and reach overhead.Lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.Perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, and arms.Operate machinery and tools requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity.Tolerate exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and noise levels in a production environment.Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection
