Pediatric Associates is seeking a Full-time Pediatrician to join work as a Newborn Hospitalist in Hollywood, FL

Position Overview:

• Full-time Schedule
  • Week 1: Monday through Friday
  • Week 2 Tuesday through Friday
  • Weekends: 2 Saturdays per 4 weeks
• Call: Schedule: 3 days per week + 2 Saturdays per 4 weeks
• 2 holidays per year
• Newborn rounding at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, FL
• Occasional Coverage at Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines and Memorial Hospital Miramar

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
