Accounting & Payroll Specialist at Credit Suite – Tampa, Florida

Remote | ~30 hours/week | Must be available during Eastern U.S. business hours

Credit Suite is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting & Payroll Specialist to support our day-to-day financial operations. This is a hands-on role where the right candidate can quickly step in, take ownership of core accounting processes, and help ensure our financial records remain accurate, organized, and up to date.

This position is remote and~30 hours per week. Candidates must be available during Eastern U.S. business hours to collaborate with leadership and internal teams.

Compensation: $15 – $50 per hour depending on experience.

Higher rates are reserved for candidates with strong QuickBooks experience, payroll expertise, and the ability to independently manage reconciliations and financial reporting.

• Monitor accounting email and respond to internal requests
• Import and categorize bank transactions in QuickBooks
• Reconcile daily deposits (bank, merchant services, and Stripe)
• Track and log affiliate and finance commissions
• Maintain vendor records and W-9 documentation
• Manage accounts payable and process payments through Bill.com
• Prepare semi-monthly payroll in Paylocity
• Pay remote contractors and maintain payment details in Wise
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts in QuickBooks
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for leadership
• Assist with 1099 preparation and CPA documentation during tax season
  

• 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll experience
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
• Experience processing payroll
• Experience with bank reconciliations and accounts payable
• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Availability during Eastern U.S. business hours
• Ability to work approximately 30 hours per week
