Description:

Perform System Engineering tasks utilizing the Forward Networks platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Become familiar with the Forward Networks commercial tool, and quickly become proficient in it.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Forward Networks tool to include set up and maintenance of data collection tasks.
• Utilizing the Forward Networks tool, model and visualize the network infrastructure in order to verify network behavio and ensure network compliance.
• Provide technical support, user training, reports, and documentation for the Forward Networks platform.
• Collaborate with external teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Serve as a technical expert and mentor to junior engineers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forward Networks platform
• Splunk/Elasticsearch
• Scripting development
• Confluence

Additionally, the candidate should have experience with several of the below technologies:

• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) applications and tools.
• Linux
• AWS
• Scripting development

• TS/SCI with FS Polygraph Required

Education and Experience:

• 20 years’ experience as an SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science,
• Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Many factors can influence final salary including, but not limited to relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Final salary can also be influenced by a position’s geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.

The salary Range for this position is: $170,000-260,000
