Account Manager at Nth Degree – Columbus, Ohio

Fern is at the top of the trade show and expo service industry. Our operation spans more than 200 cities from coast to coast. In other words, wherever there’s a major convention center and event venue, we’re there with experienced local teams providing exceptional service and support, whenever you need it. We are looking to add an Account Manager to our Columbus operations team. You will manage and assist the sales team with corporate clients and trade shows. You will be responsible for preparing events, from gathering equipment and labor needs to organizing graphics/display needs.

You will report directly to Columbus GM. Position does require being onsite full time plus the ability to travel to various shows.

Salary is $60-65k.

What you’ll do:

Lead and oversee local labor in achieving the goals and timelines outlined for an event.Work with the operations manager in identifying and assigning the proper labor needed for an event.Work with the operations manager to identify equipment needed for an event.Enter and maintain job tickets and client information.Work with incoming clients and other Fern cities write quotes, work tickets, and invoices.Ability to create financial documents and budgets.Oversee labor onsite and actively work to cut labor jobs while still effectively completing an event.Attend venue and visitor’s bureau meetings as requested.Assist in qualifying sales leads.Serve as the face of the company within the local community and industry.Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

Experience in trade shows, live events, or related industry preferred. Strong client relationship and service delivery experienceExcellent written and presentation skillsProficiency with MS OfficeTravel may be required for up to 30% of the time.
