What You'll Do
The Business Development Representative, Feeders is responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and expanding market adoption of HAI's feeder and auxiliary product lines. This role combines direct sales, business development, customer relationship management, and specialized product knowledge to achieve sales targets and grow the feeder business across assigned territories and accounts.
Business Development & Sales- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual sales targets and drive revenue growth for feeder and auxiliary product lines within assigned territories and accounts.
- Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities, including expanding feeder product adoption within existing customer accounts and prospective markets.
- Engage directly with customers to understand their needs, promote feeder solutions, and advance sales opportunities through the sales process.
- Collaborate with regional sales representatives and distributors to develop customer opportunities, promote feeder products, and secure new business.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to expand market presence, increase sales, and support long-term customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate customer visits, product presentations, evaluations, and trials in collaboration with internal technical resources to demonstrate product value and drive sales opportunities.
- Develop sales forecasts, monitor performance against established targets, and maintain accurate records of customer activities, opportunities, and sales progress.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and support business strategy.
- Provide product knowledge and application guidance related to feeder systems and auxiliary products to customers, distributors, and internal sales teams.
- Partner with technical teams, product management, and engineering resources to identify appropriate product solutions and address customer application needs.
- Coordinate technical resources, including simulation activities, product evaluations, and trials, to advance sales opportunities and support product adoption.
- Work with internal teams to address customer questions, product performance concerns, and opportunities for improved product applications.
- Provide product information and training to customers, distributors, and internal sales teams to promote feeder technologies and support sales growth.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, manufacturing, technical teams, and product management to ensure effective coordination of customer requirements and sales opportunities.
- Work with internal teams to support pricing, quotations, product availability, and successful execution of customer orders.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and professional organizations to develop business relationships, identify opportunities, and promote feeder products.

Requirements:What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or other technical degree or a combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or customer-facing roles within:
- Foundry, Metal casting, industrial manufacturing,
- Exposure to foundry consumables/products such as:
- Feeders/sleeves, Refractory products, process materials, or related product lines
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity or exposure to casting simulation tools such as MAGMASOFT is preferred, but deep technical expertise is not required.
- Strong relationship builder with the ability to develop trust and credibility with customers over time.
- Commercially driven and able to identify, develop, and close business opportunities within a longer technical sales cycle.
- Persistent and proactive in managing opportunities through evaluation, trial, and implementation phases to achieve successful outcomes.
- Comfortable navigating technical and commercial discussions while coordinating with engineering and technical support resources.
- Self-directed, collaborative, and capable of maintaining momentum across multiple customer projects and priorities.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel up to 80% throughout the assigned territory as required.
Work Environment
- This is a hands-on, field-driven role where no two days are the same.
- You’ll work from a home office while traveling extensively throughout your territory, including customer sites and industrial environments.
- Exposure to manufacturing and foundry environments.
- Use of safety equipment (PPE required on-site).
- Physical activity including walking, standing, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
