Part-Time Security Guard Temporary Position

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday | 7:00 AM 3:00 PM

Hours: 16 hours per week

Trident Security Solutions is seeking a dependable and professional Part-Time Security Guard to provide weekend security coverage in Decatur, AL.

Please note that this is a TEMPORARY position with a set weekend schedule. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking for short-term, part-time employment who can consistently work both Saturday and Sunday.

The ideal candidate is reliable, observant, professional, and comfortable working independently while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Patrol and secure assigned areas, including checking doors, gates, and access points.
• Monitor the property for safety hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, or unauthorized entry.
• Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the assigned shift.
• Provide clear directions and professional assistance to employees, visitors, and the public.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and administer CPR/AED when needed and properly trained.
• Inspect security equipment and promptly report any suspicious activity or security concerns.
• Complete required incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Follow all company policies, site-specific procedures, and post orders.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess a valid Alabama Security Regulatory Board (ASRB) Guard Card or be eligible to obtain one.
• Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM for the duration of the assignment.
• Must understand and accept that this is a temporary, part-time position.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Capable of walking, standing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and dependability.
• Ability to work independently and follow established security procedures.

IMPORTANT POSITION DETAILS

This position is TEMPORARY and PART-TIME, with a consistent schedule of 16 hours per week.

Applicants should understand that this assignment is not a permanent position, and continued employment beyond the temporary assignment is not guaranteed.

Candidates must be available for both scheduled weekend shifts.
