POSITION SUMMARY
As part of the organizational realignment and reorganization of our Spanish operations, sennder will open a position aiming to ensure continuity of the business and strategic alignment. Thus, we are opening an internal opportunity for the role of Carrier Growth Manager.
As a Carrier Growth Manager you will be responsible for procurement activities while maintaining a high level of service to customers, measuring and monitoring vendor performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll be collaborating closely with carrier managers, operations management, finance and quality teams to ensure the best transport service and quality.
- Build & Extend our carrier network: Having the possibility to offer a wide range of truck types to our customers and making sure that we store our carrier´s information and fleet details in a consistent and scalable manner. Scout new suppliers and walk them through sennder network with the aim of building up solid and long-standing relationships;
- Develop strong, long-term relationships through visits, workshops, and strategic engagement with key carrier leadership.
- Drive strategic initiatives including volume-based commitments, automation, and service quality improvements.
- Optimize carrier utilization and account growth by leveraging internal resources and cross-functional collaboration.
- Lead the carrier selection for tenders, focusing on long-term partners and balancing capacity with margin goals.
- Analyze bids, define strategic lanes and KPI targets, and execute pricing negotiations (tender).
- Execute carrier agreements, establish SOPs, and manage allocation strategies.
- Support teams in resolving high-level carrier issues and act as escalation contact for complex problems.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR…
- A specialist of FTL transport, with previous experiences in complex supplier management;
- Experienced in e-sourcing, contract management
- A good negotiator, with proven analytical skills;
- Excellent in written and verbal presentations;
- An excellent communicator;
- Professionally fluent both in English and Spanish (required)
- Proven high performance in H1 & H2 2024 and H1 2025
- Leadership Experience of at least 2 years
