STEM Coordinator Job Description Job Title: STEM Coordinator Employer: Boys and Girls Clubs of the Northwest Suburbs Site Placement: Perry Elementary School & Sunny Hill Elementary School Position: July 28 – August 31, 2025: Up to 20 hours per week (remote) for planning and preparation September 1, 2025 – July 31, 2026: 6 hours per week onsite at Perry Elementary and Sunny Hill Elementary. Up to 15 additional hours per month (remote) for planning, data collection, and reporting Assigned Time Frame: July 28th, 2025 - July 31st, 2026 General Overview: The STEM Coordinator will lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of STEM programming for 4th–5th grade youth at Perry Elementary and Sunny Hill Elementary. This part-time position plays a key role in developing engaging, high-quality STEM experiences, strengthening staff capacity, collecting data for continuous quality improvement (CQI), and fostering community engagement. Responsibilities. ? Deliver weekly STEM programs aligned with BGCA curriculum and youth interests ? Plan and improve STEM learning spaces and materials ? Collect youth and staff feedback to guide programming ? Provide STEM training and support for staff at both sites ? Organize at least one STEM-related community or career exploration opportunity
