We are seeking a full-time Injury Care Assistant to help with the administrative functions in the Injury Care Department.

Essential Duties

• Place the first call to the healthcare provider, the day after the appointment, to obtain the patient work status, next appointment information, and determine if any specialist referrals or other physical therapy/MRI has been prescribed.
• Responsible for answering and handling telephone inquiries regarding specific cases.
• Assist with scheduling physical therapy, diagnostic, and specialist appointments for managed files.
• Enter intakes and all appointments along with physical therapy and MRIs in the appropriate database.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experienced with computer data entry
• Familiar with medical terminology
• Typing 30-35 WPM
• Excellent communication skills
