About This Position

Summary

The Senior Copywriter/Supervisor plays a dual role as both a high-performing writer and a team leader. Leads the copywriting function within the in-house creative team, developing compelling content and overseeing the work of other copywriters. Mentors junior writers, ensures brand voice consistency, and helps shape messaging strategy across Parkview Health’s internal and external communications.

Is comfortable collaborating across creative, strategic and clinical teams, and serves as a key partner in the development of integrated campaigns that support Parkview's mission and marketing goals.

Directly supervises Copywriters, including responsibilities such as hiring, training and development, conducting performance reviews, and managing disciplinary actions.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, journalism, English, communications, or a related field is required

Experience

Requires a minimum of 7–12 years of professional experience in copywriting, with at least 2 years in a senior, lead, or supervisory writing role. Agency or in-house advertising experience strongly preferred. Experience managing or coaching other writers.

Other Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a conceptual thinker with a background in advertising and brand storytelling, capable of crafting compelling short- and long-form content, video scripts and campaign messaging. Portfolio must show strong conceptual thinking and versatility across campaign, digital, video, and long-form content. Proven leadership and mentoring skills. Deep understanding of branding, messaging frameworks, and content strategy. Excellent copywriting skills across a range of formats: advertising, video, digital, and editorial. Ability to translate complex or clinical topics into accessible, engaging content. Strong creative collaboration and communication skills. Comfortable presenting work, giving and receiving feedback, and working iteratively. Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities. Portfolio required for consideration.
