About This Position

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Gainesville. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with various conditions, including cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, and stroke rehabilitation. Your main goal will be to help patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid state license to practice Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working with patients with various conditions, including geriatric rehabilitation, cerebral palsy, and orthopedic rehabilitation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with sensory integration therapy
  • Experience with physical therapy and rehabilitation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient evaluations to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide hands-on therapy to patients to improve their motor skills, coordination, and range of motion
  • Educate patients and their families on how to perform daily activities safely and independently
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes

Skills:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will use your expertise in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation, Geriatric Rehabilitation, Cerebral Palsy, Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Sensory Integration, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Stroke Rehabilitation to provide high-quality care to patients. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in educating patients and their families on how to perform daily activities safely and independently. Additionally, your attention to detail and ability to document patient progress accurately will ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
