Maintenance Worker at LA Global Care – Los Angeles, California

Identifies, fix and repair minor plumbing leaks
- Install smoke detectors
- Identifies and/or performs basic electric repairs, i.e, replacing wall plugs, light bulbs, etc.
- Inspect and report major unsafe electrical issues/repairs
- Maintains grounds in clean, safe; cleans debris from grounds, pathways, and parking lots
- Exterminate, spray insecticides and/or fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestation.
- Respond to maintenance request and repair orders in a timely matter
- Inspect housing sites and notifying management of major repairs
- Coordinate with Housing Security Monitors to maintain cleanliness of house
- Wear appropriate clothing, including a staff uniform shirt and staff badges
- Complete Weekly Activity Sheet (based on contract)
- Maintain housing supplies and inventory
- Conduct all functions in accordance with Agency guidelines, policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as directed
Must have car & tools.
