Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or LPC Associates Responsibilities & Duties

Conduct individual, family, and group counseling sessionsAssess clients' mental health needs and develop treatment plansProvide crisis intervention and support to clients in needMaintainaccurateand confidential client recordsCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive careStayup to datewith current developments in mental health treatment and best practicesIn the community

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Qualifications & Skills

Master's degree in counseling, Psychology, orrelatedfield. Licensed ProfessionalCounselor Associate orLicensed ProfessionalCounselor (LPC).Experience in a specific therapeutic modality (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR).Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Provenrecord of accomplishmentof successful client outcomes.Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.Bilingualproficiencyis an asset.Experience working with diverse populations.Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Master's degree in counseling or related fieldValid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state3+ years of experience in counseling or related roleEffective communication, interpersonal, and active listening skillsAbility tomaintainprofessional boundaries and handle sensitive informationPassion for making a positive impact in people's lives
