SUMMARY:

The Marketing and Events Coordinator supports the Marketing and Development Department in the execution of marketing initiatives, event coordination, and donor management operations. This role is responsible for assisting with campaign implementation, website updates, social media and advertising design, event logistics, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), donor acknowledgment processes, and fundraising outreach support.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Execute integrated marketing initiatives under the direction of the Marketing Manager.
  • Coordinate and develop digital and print marketing materials including social media graphics and advertisements.Assist with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) implementation and ongoing website updates to ensure accurate and optimized content.Support email marketing campaigns including list exports and formatting. Pull donor and campaign reports for mailings.Support the production and distribution of annual print appeals and reports, including printing, assembly, and mailing logistics.Support with tracking social media engagement and assist with reporting metrics.Coordinate execution of fundraising and community events including vendor coordination, sponsorship tracking, orders, and logistics.Assist with outreach to secure sponsorships and donations for fundraising events.Administer Bloomerang donation entry and maintain donor database accuracy.Support in-house production of printed marketing materials and coordinate preparation of marketing material folders and program materials for departments across the organization.Coordinate donor acknowledgment process, including preparation and coordination of thank-you letters.Maintain organized event planning documentation, including budgeting spreadsheets, donor records, and event files.Assist with coordination and on-site support for photography and video productions.Represent Gosnold at events as required.Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support departmental and organizational goals.Must be able to flexibly modify schedule to accommodate needs that pertain to Gosnold events. Periodic travel required. Must be comfortable with agency clientele and Alumni and demonstrate a willingness to learn about behavioral health and substance use disorders.

    MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job.

    Education: Associates degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, and/or related field required. Bachelor’s degree in related field strongly preferred.
    Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience in marketing and communications, experience with content management systems, experience with project management and event planning. Proficiency in the following programs: MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop a must), Constant Contact or other email software, CRM and database management preferred but not required, and iMovie or similar technology. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Copywriting and editing skills. Ability to work independently, multitask and take initiative on projects. Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize.
