Contract Implementation Project Manager
Position location is flexible and may office from any branch in the USA
Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm

OVERVIEW:
Working as Contract Implementation Project Manager, you will be managing the contract implementation project of National Accounts customers across the organization. You will work with NA sales and leadership to develop a contract implementation strategy to efficiently and effectively implement Supply Agreements to transition and maintain business opportunities for Fastenal.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Collaborating with sales leadership and our customers to create a contract implementation strategy that ensures successful implementation with effective resource utilization and timely completion
o Conducting pre-project analysis, create comprehensive and collaborative implementation plans, establish deployment KPIs, timelines, and communication cadence
o Analyzing and distribute customer data with support systems and tools to be used for deployment success
o Identifying, escalating, and providing recommendations to resolve barriers to progress
o Communicating with internal teams and customers on a regular basis to update progress and drive accountability to meet timelines
o Presenting in a professional setting to customer stakeholders our methods, strategy, and progress

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
o Possess at least 2 years of relevant work experience at Fastenal
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
o Highly motivated and self directed with the ability to motivate others
o Demonstrate knowledge of Lean business practices/operations and strong knowledge of Fastenal Solutions
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision-making skills
o Present fast-paced ideas in a formal presentation or in a written proposal
o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
o Work independently as well as in a team environment
o Willingness and ability to travel 50% of time
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
o Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
o Pass a background check, required by a customer/contract serviced by this location

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Possess a degree, training, or certification in Project Management, Lean Six Sigma or a related certification
o Possess a Project Management Professional certification
o Prior experience with or certifications in Lean Six Sigma
o Proficient using Smartsheet

COMPENSATION:
The base pay range for this position is $60,000 - 72,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
