Key Responsibilities

Cleanse and standardize large datasets to ensure data quality and integrity
Perform statistical analyses to support evidence-based decision-making
Translate complex data findings into actionable business recommendations for healthcare management teams
Work with cross-functional teams (clinical, operational, IT) to implement data-driven solutions
Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy regulations (HIPAA) when handling sensitive patient information
Document and communicate methodologies, findings, and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications
Required:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Healthcare Informatics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on healthcare data
Proficiency in data tools such as Excel, SQL, and at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Knowledge of healthcare datasets, including medical claims, patient records, or operational data
Basic understanding of healthcare industry metrics and KPIs
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
Familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., ICD codes, CPT codes, HL7, HIPAA regulations)
Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis
Knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and healthcare data repositories
Prior experience working in a healthcare data environment or with healthcare organizations
