RN Per Diem at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

We are seeking an experienced RN for our Intermediate Care(Stepdown) unit. The Intermediate Care RN provides high quality, patient-centered care to adult patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and treatment. This role supports safe patient transitions from ICU and manages patients with increased acuity who do not require ICU-level of care. You will be responsible for hemodynamic monitoring, high-flow oxygen and non-invasion ventilation care, care of patients in DKA, titration of drips, to name a few. The nurse patient ratio is typically 1:3. ALS is required. Orientation will be tailored to your experience.
