Lounge Bartender at Doubletree by Hilton Chicago/Wood Dale – Wood Dale, Illinois

Job Summary:

The Lounge Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in the hotel's lounge. This role requires excellent customer service skills and a thorough knowledge of mixology.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.

- Interact with guests, take orders, and provide recommendations.

- Ensure the bar area is clean and well-stocked.

- Monitor guest behavior and ensure responsible beverage service.

- Process payments and manage cash register.

- Create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests.

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience as a bartender.

- Excellent knowledge of drink recipes and mixology.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Friendly and professional demeanor.

- TIPS or similar certification preferred.
