IT Technician – Epic Pain Management

Work Environment

IT Technician will work in an office setting, and travel between sites (Field Service) to support infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support: Responding to user requests, troubleshooting, and diagnosing hardware/software issues via email, phone, or in-person.
  • Hardware & Software Installation: Setting up, configuring, and updating laptops, desktops, printers, and software applications.
  • Network Maintenance: Monitoring and supporting LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • User Management: Creating, managing, and maintaining user accounts (e.g., Active Directory, Microsoft 365).
  • Security & Data Protection: Installing anti-virus, updating security patches, and ensuring data security protocols are followed.
  • Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of repairs, system updates, and equipment inventory.
  • Education: Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience/certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows/macOS, networking protocols (TCP/IP), and hardware maintenance.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
Requirements:
  • Education: Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience/certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows/macOS, networking protocols (TCP/IP), and hardware maintenance.
