JOB SUMMARY

The Monitor Technician is a member of the patient care service team with primary responsibilities for monitoring the patients' heart rate and rhythms following the completion of the formalized orientation program and arrhythmia course.

REQUIREMENTS

• Preferred High School Diploma EKG class preferred.

• Less than 2 years Experienced Monitor Tech, Patient Care Tech or Unit Secretary. Must successfully complete arrhythmia test. Required

• EKG Certification
