Senior Load Bank Technician

About Our Role:

Senior Load Bank Technician role is full-time and on-site in our Sterling, VA facility. This role will be a subject matter expert on AC and LC Load Banks. This role will report directly to the Operations Lead. There will be onsite travel required at least one time per month.

What You Will Do:

  • Prepare load banks and related equipment for customer rental, ensuring they are clean, tested, and ready for deployment

  • Inspect returned equipment, identify damage or performance issues, and perform functional testing

  • Perform preventative maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and minor repairs on load banks and associated accessories

  • Maintain accurate service records and document inspections, testing, and repairs

  • Prepare equipment for outbound shipments by following company packaging and quality standards

  • Collaborate with Operations, Calibration, and Customer Service teams to ensure equipment availability and customer satisfaction

  • Follow all safety procedures while working with electrical equipment

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to learn new equipment and systems through self-directed research, manager-led training and observation

  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and clarity for developing procedures and protocols as well as training new personnel

  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and asking questions to build understanding

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with document control or knowledge management systems a plus

  • Interest in or willingness to work with load bank equipment used in data center environments (required)

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)

Pay:

  • $26.00 - $34.00 per hour

Hours:

  • No less than 40 hours per week

  • 9:30 am to 6:00 pm regular schedule Monday – Friday, with flexibility to stay until 7:00 pm on short notice when required by customer needs
