- We are hiring an experienced Administrative Specialist to provide administrative support for all operational and project-related activities.
Miller Pipeline is hiring a Fleet Supervisor tooversee the performance, maintenance, and compliance of fleet vehicles and equipment. This includes managing internal and external maintenance teams, scheduling preventative maintenance, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing asset utilization, and supporting operational readiness for construction and infrastructure projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate preventative maintenance and repair activities for all company-owned/leased fleet assets.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local inspections (DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, ANSI).
- Confirm telematics devices are functional and integrated with related systems.
- Oversee maintenance vendor performance for quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage equipment assignments, movements, and asset tracking.
- Supervise asset disposals and communicate new equipment deliveries.
- Schedule and dispatch vehicles and equipment deliveries with field operations.
- Approve R&M invoices ($10k Max per Invoice) and review related accounts payable.
- Document all maintenance activities within fleet system(s).
- Supervise mechanics, shop personnel, and drivers ensure compliance with safety policies.
- Conduct performance reviews and support employee development.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive shop environment.
- Monitor fleet metrics and drive improvements in uptime, cost, and compliance.
- Occasional travel (1025%), including day trips and rare overnights.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 35 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- 5+ years in fleet maintenance or equipment management.
- Experience managing internal technicians and third-party vendors.
- Strong knowledge of DOT, OSHA, ANSI, FMCSA regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree, vocational trade school, or bachelors degree in related field.
- CDL Class A, FMCSA Brake Inspector, OSHA and/or ASE certifications.
- Proficient in fleet software systems, diagnostic tools, and MS Office.
- Familiar with telematics platforms and shop scheduling systems.
- Able to interpret service bulletins, schematics, and maintenance data.
