The Warehouse Consolidator ensures that incoming and outgoing shipments are efficiently combined for transportation. This role is vital for minimizing shipping costs, maximizing space utilization, and meeting customer delivery requirements. The consolidator works closely with warehouse staff, shipping companies, and logistics personnel to optimize the movement of goods.
This is a Day Shift position: Mon-Fri 5:30 am to 2:00 pm
Job Type: Full Time, $20.00/hr
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position requires up to 8-9 hours of movement per shift (Monday through Thursday) and up to 4 hours of movement per shift on Friday, including standing, pushing, pulling, twisting, bending at the waist, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs per instance.
- Consolidation of Shipments: Combine smaller shipments into larger ones for efficient space utilization and cost reduction.
- Inventory Management: Track and organize inventory in the warehouse to ensure items are available for consolidation.
- Shipping Coordination: Communicate with logistics teams and carriers to ensure consolidated shipments meet delivery schedules.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading trucks, containers, or other transportation vehicles.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of consolidated shipments, including weights, dimensions, and other necessary shipping documentation.
- Quality Control: Ensure items are properly packed, labeled, and meet shipping and safety standards.
- Problem Solving: Resolve any issues related to delayed, missing, or incorrect shipments.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and regulations during warehouse operations to ensure a safe working environment.

- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Ability to read and understand safety instructions, work orders, and written procedures in English
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to respond to common directions
- Ability to effectively present information to employees for the purpose of clarification or training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience in Warehousing or Logistics: Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environment is typically required.
- Accuracy in packing, labeling, and tracking shipments
- Ability to identify and resolve logistical issues efficiently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members, carriers, and suppliers
- Ability to lift, move, and load heavy objects as required by warehouse operations
- Familiarity with Warehouse Software: Proficiency in using inventory management and shipping software is often preferred
