Laborer - Junk Removal/Appliance Installer/Graffiti Remover at Pacific West Construction and Maintenance – Seattle, Washington

Pacific West Construction and Maintenance is looking for a qualified full-time Laborer for junk removal, appliance installer and graffiti remover to join our team!

Pacific West is a general contracting firm that preserves, adds value and new purposes to existing structures and new-construction projects. We specialize in multifamily, residential, and commercial properties in the Seattle Metro area. With a team of highly skilled tradesmen, Pacific West works with the finest craftsmen to take the project from an idea concept through to a completed project.

This position is responsible for driving along with our van to client locations in the greater Seattle area, loading junk into the truck and hauling to the dump. Most of our clients are apartment buildings and items hauled range in size from small trash to furniture, and occasionally construction debris. A sledgehammer or sawzall can be used to break down oversized items.

Additional work is available if junk removal requests slow down at any time. Opportunities to learn new skills in the maintenance field.

Qualifications

• Prior related experience a plus!
• Positive attitude and customer service minded.
• Good communication skills to follow instructions and talk to customers.
• Ability to work independently, manage time and customer priorities.

Position Requirements

• Must have smart phone for contact in the field and job tracking.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently, and occasionally up to 100 lbs. safely.
• Valid Washington State driver’s license (CDL not required)
• Pass a criminal background check
• Authorized to work in the United States
