Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Culture
- Lead, coach, and develop branch staff to deliver exceptional customer service
- Create a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Addressing employee concerns promptly and professionally
- Building relationships—not just managing transactions
Customer Experience & Sales
- Serve as a visible leader and point of contact for customers
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Resolve customer issues, complaints, and escalations
- Support deposit growth and referral of bank products and services
- Promote the bank’s values and reputation in the community
- Support staff during busy times to maintain service quality
Operations & Compliance
- Oversee daily branch operations, including teller and platform functions
- Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate cash controls, audits, and operational reporting
- Ensure proper documentation, signage, and internal controls are in place
- Maintain branch security, safety procedures, and incident reporting
Financial & Performance Management
- Monitor branch performance metrics and staffing efficiency
- Identify operational improvements and efficiencies
- Ensure accuracy and accountability in all transactions
Community & Professional Presence
- Represent the bank in community events, meetings, and partnerships
- Support business development and community engagement initiatives
- Maintain a professional, welcoming branch environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous banking or financial services experience
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
Preferred
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
- Previous branch management or assistant branch manager experience
- Experience with consumer or small business banking
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards
