Accounting Assistant
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on QuickBooks Online experience with who enjoys keeping accurate financial records and supporting a growing business. A QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor is a plus.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and confident working independently within QuickBooks Online.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Perform daily accounting tasks using QuickBooks Online
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Enter invoices, bills, payments, and journal entries
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Maintain accurate general ledger records
• Assist with monthly financial reports
• Support month-end and year-end close
• Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation
• Assist accountant or management with additional accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications
• QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor a plus
• 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential financial information
