Position Description:

We’re seeking a Training Administrator to oversee and coordinate staff training programs that drive performance, compliance, and professional growth. In this role, you’ll support Human Resources and leadership teams by planning, organizing, and evaluating training initiatives that align with contractual requirements and organizational learning goals. From orientation to recertification, you’ll help ensure every employee has the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide administrative support to HR, including recording meeting minutes and managing training documentation.
  • Design, update, and deliver training programs such as orientation, pre-service, on-the-job, in-service, and contractor training.
  • Coordinate and instruct training sessions or secure qualified trainers as needed.
  • Track employee training hours, verify certifications, and ensure recertifications meet agency requirements.
  • Maintain accurate training records for all staff and contractors, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Develop curricula and lesson plans that are engaging and aligned with learning objectives.
  • Provide orientation for new staff and contractors, supporting smooth integration into the workplace.
  • Identify, train, and manage part-time or supplemental trainers to meet program needs.
  • Monitor training attendance, ensure compliance with required sessions, and notify employees of upcoming deadlines.
  • Support performance management by recommending new training programs and contributing to process improvements.
  • What We’re Looking For

    Education & Training

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Experience

  • 1+ year of clerical support experience (required)
  • Ability to work with computers and software applications used by the department (required)
  • Human Resources experience (preferred)
