Skilled Maintenance Technician in Stockton, Missouri at Citizens Memorial

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Skilled Maintenance Technician to care for the residents at Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the area: Stockton, Missouri is home to Stockton State Park, which offers a range of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, fishing, boating, and swimming. Stockton Lake is located a few minutes from our facility and is a popular destination for boating, water sports, and camping!

About the facility: Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility (LSHCF) is a 90-bed long-term skilled nursing facility. A 30-bed memory care unit meets the specific needs of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.

A typical day includes: You will provide attention to preventative maintenance each day on water heaters, water temperatures, generator checks, electrical checks, the sprinkler system, exit lights, work order lists, and other items that arise. Monthly preventative checks such as the HVAC system, sprinkler system, and walk in cooler/freezer, door alarms, window alarms, hot water temps, and each piece of equipment in the facility will need to be completed. As a Skilled Technician you will also be responsible for demand work orders such as light bulbs and other items in immediate need.

• Preparing itemized record of actual cost and labor hours for each major
• Providing general maintenance assistance
• Assisting with resident and employee special functions at facility

Job Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma
• Experience: Related professional and home experience will be considered, maintenance fire code or life safety preferred
• Skills: Computer skills, social
• Licensure/Certification: Family and Friends CPR within 6 months of employment
• Physical: Ability to stand for 90% of the day and work on a computer for the remaining 10%

The position is Full Time, Variable shifts 8:00 a.m to 4:30 p.m, every other weekend
