Lead Biomedical Engineering Technician #8490 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at St. Clair Hospital

While performing duties related to St. Clair Hospital this position is responsible for the efficient maintenance of specified medical equipment and systems in the Hospital (e.g., anesthesia machines, diagnostic ultrasound equipment, and lasers). This position is also involved in the capital equipment purchases and equipment evaluation process. This role will act as the point person for the Biomedical Engineering Technicians by assisting with project assignments and addressing needs.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Associate’s degree or equivalent in electronics, process control, or clinical engineering.
2. Four years of previous hospital clinical engineering experience.
3. Knowledge of personal computer systems.

Preferred Qualifications

1. 1. Five or more years of hospital clinical engineering experience.
