Biomedical Engineering Technician #8320 at St. Clair Hospital – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Summary

While performing duties related to St. Clair Hospital this position is responsible for the efficient maintenance of specified medical equipment and systems in the Hospital (e.g., anesthesia machines, diagnostic ultrasound equipment, and lasers). This position is also involved in the capital equipment purchases and equipment evaluation process.

Minimum Qualifications

1. High School Graduate or equivalent.
2. Must meet one of the following:
   1. 1. Associate’s degree or equivalent in electronics, process control, clinical engineering, or related field.
      2. Two years of hospital, healthcare, or military related clinical engineering experience.
3. Knowledge of personal computer systems.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Five to seven years of hospital clinical engineering experience.
