Electrical Drafter/ Modeler (Onsite) at Latitude Inc – New Market, Maryland

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Drafter / Modeler with hands-on experience in AutoCAD and/or Revit and a strong background in electrical systems. This role is responsible for producing accurate electrical drawings and 3D models for commercial and/or industrial projects, supporting engineers and project teams throughout the design and construction process.

• Create and modify electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD and/or Revit

• Develop 2D plans and 3D BIM models for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems

• Interpret engineering designs, specifications, and redlines to produce construction-ready documents

• Coordinate with electrical engineers, project managers, and other trades (mechanical, plumbing, etc.) to ensure clash-free designs

• Update drawings based on design changes, RFIs, and field conditions

• Assist with panel schedules, load calculations, and circuiting documentation

• Maintain drawing standards, file organization, and version control

• Participate in coordination meetings and contribute to BIM coordination efforts

• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements
