Responsibilities:

• Partner with plant leadership to support production schedules and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards across maintenance, production, and shared work areas.
• Prepare and manage documentation and reports to support audits, safety compliance, and performance tracking.
• Oversee plant equipment to ensure effective preventive maintenance, including routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repair planning to maximize operational efficiency.
• Perform mechanical repairs on key equipment such as Raymond mills, pneumatic conveying systems, jaw crushers, belt conveyors, motors, and valves to minimize downtime.
• Monitor and maintain the performance of plant systems, including conveyors, mixers, and control panels, resolving operational issues promptly.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by plant leadership.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training in mechanical repair or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant maintenance experience; experience with mill maintenance is highly desirable.
• Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., MSHA) is a plus.
• Valid crane operation certification with hands-on experience required.
• Proven welding experience required.
• Forklift certification with practical operating experience required.
• 5+ years of maintenance or plant operations experience required; prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience in welding, fabrication, crane, and forklift operations required.
• MSHA certification and familiarity with ISO or Quality Management Systems are highly desirable.
• First Aid and CPR certification required or ability to obtain.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including power transmission, crushers, conveyor systems, Raymond mills, loaders, forklifts, and bagging equipment.
• Ability to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and rebuild plant machinery using both power and hand tools.
• Solid knowledge of equipment design principles and maintenance best practices.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
• Self-motivated with strong initiative and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn new equipment, tools, and emerging technologies.
