About This Position
POSITION TITLE: Warehouse Assistant
REPORTS TO: Warehouse Lead
Founded in 1996 in Florida, and established in Maryland in 2024, Reach Services is the premier source for suspended and supported scaffolding systems and specialty hoisting services for the South Florida Area, DMV region and beyond.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
This position reports to the Warehouse Lead and is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, maintain equipment, and ensure efficient handling of incoming and outgoing orders. Specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing orders safely and efficiently
- Clean, maintain, and repair company equipment
- Reel wire and cables as needed for job orders
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking, organizing, and tracking materials
- Pick up and deliver equipment and materials to various locations
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Support the upkeep of the company fleet
- Deliver outstanding customer service to clients and colleagues
QUALIFICATIONS & JOB DEMANDS:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to maintain an active state issued driver’s license
- Prior warehouse or equipment handling experience, a plus
- Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency in verbal and written English required
- Committed to maintaining safety standards at all times
- Able to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Organization, collaboration, multi-tasking, and attention to detail
- Occasional crouching, bending, and kneeling as needed
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs. and remain on feet for extended periods
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Pompano Beach, FL area
