About the Role:

The Sales Lot Porter plays a crucial role in maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and presentation of the vehicle sales lot within the retail trade environment. This position ensures that all vehicles are clean, properly positioned, gassed, and ready for customer viewing and test drives, directly impacting the overall customer experience and sales effectiveness. The role involves communication with sales staff and management to prepare vehicles for delivery and display, as well as managing lot inventory through accurate vehicle movement and placement. Responsibilities:

• Ensures interiors and exteriors of sold cars have a pristine presentation.
• Move and position vehicles on the lot according to sales and management instructions to optimize space and display.
• Assist with vehicle deliveries and pickups, ensuring all necessary paperwork and keys are handled appropriately.
• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles for damage, cleanliness, and maintenance needs, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the sales lot, including trash removal and lot sweeping.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and dealership policies to ensure a secure working environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as prepping and starting vehicles, standing for extended periods, and moving vehicles.
• Basic understanding of vehicle handling and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Can follow instructions given to them by their supervisor.
