Position Summary

Resicum International LLC is seeking Aircraft Mechanic I – Flightline personnel to support organizational-level maintenance and flightline operations for KC-130 aircraft assigned to Marine Aircraft Group 12 at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan.

The successful candidate will perform assigned aircraft inspections, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks in support of daily flight operations. This position supports aircraft readiness and requires the ability to perform assigned inspection responsibilities in accordance with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assigned scheduled and unscheduled KC-130 maintenance in support of flightline operations.
• Assist with aircraft inspections, servicing, troubleshooting, and discrepancy correction.
• Support aircraft launch, recovery, movement, and operational readiness requirements.
• Perform assigned maintenance on aircraft systems in accordance with applicable technical manuals.
• Support aircraft ground operations and comply with approved Ground Operations Procedures.
• Perform assigned maintenance inspections and quality responsibilities as a qualified CDI.
• Complete required maintenance documentation in aircraft logs, records, and applicable maintenance information systems.
• Support corrosion prevention and other maintenance requirements as directed.
• Comply with CNAFINST 4790.2 series, applicable NAVAIR publications, and local operating instructions.
• Participate in required maintenance activities and emergency drills as directed.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience performing aircraft maintenance in a flightline or operational maintenance environment.
• Working knowledge of aircraft inspections, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance documentation.
• Ability to interpret aircraft technical manuals and maintenance publications.
• Ability to perform assigned inspection responsibilities as a qualified CDI in accordance with NAMP and applicable local requirements.
• Experience supporting aircraft ground operations and flightline maintenance activities.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required installation access credentials and background investigation eligibility.
• Must be able to work the assigned day or night shift at MCAS Iwakuni.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous KC-130 or KC-130J maintenance experience.
• Previous U.S. Navy or U.S. Marine Corps aviation maintenance experience.
• Experience supporting aircraft launch and recovery operations.
• Current or previous CDI, CDQAR, or QAR qualifications.

Contract Contingency

This position is contingent upon Resicum International LLC receiving the contract award. Employment and anticipated start dates will be dependent upon contract award and the Government-approved transition and performance schedule.
