About the Position

The airport is hiring a Custodial Supervisor to lead one of our most vital front line service teams. This individual will direct our Building Maintenance department’s daily tasks and strategic initiatives to keep our facilities in the excellent condition that has caused many travelers to note us as one of the nicest, cleanest, and more charming airports in the country. Responsibilities range from scheduling and ordering supplies to performance management and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations (e.g. OSHA). This role functions as a working supervisor when additional capacity to complete duties is required.

Five (5) years custodial experience with three (3) years in a leadership role or the equivalent required. A strong candidate will exhibit a thorough understanding of best practices and techniques in the janitorial field, a history of compassionate leadership with custodial teams, and the ability to successfully motivate, train and promote accountability among staff. Experience in public-facing institutions, a background in customer service, and the ability to communicate in Spanish a plus.

Compensation

This position’s annual income is estimated to begin between $54,785 and $64,372 depending on experience.

Schedule

The Night Shift Custodial Supervisor is regularly scheduled to work from 6:00 pm to 3:00 am Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Wednesday 4:30 pm to 1:00 am. As a department leader, this person must be flexible to work at least one evening a week and from time to time to work nights, weekends and/or holidays to conduct meetings and provide assistance as required.
