Transportation Permit Specialist-Nashville TN-Onsite in Nashville, Tennessee at INFO ORIGIN INC

Key Responsibilities:

• Review oversize/overweight permits for accuracy, completeness, routes, and restrictions.
• Ensure permits comply with applicable state and federal rules and regulations.
• Review routes to support safe travel throughout the state.
• Provide customer support to commercial carriers regarding permit status and updates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree OR Associate degree + 2 years of relevant experience OR High school diploma + 4 years of relevant experience.
• Customer service experience required.
• Motor carrier permit/registration experience preferred.
• Experience with transportation/logistics, freight movement, or heavy-haul permitting is a plus.
• Analytical experience involving regulatory compliance preferred.
• Data/system experience and permit management/routing software experience preferred.
• GIS experience is a plus.
