THE ROLE

As a key point of contact for our showroom, this position is responsible for creating a welcoming customer experience, assisting with countertop material selections, qualifying sales opportunities, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate customer information in our CRM.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a positive personality, an interest in home design, and the ability to confidently engage customers, understand their project needs, and guide them toward the appropriate next step. This role requires strong organization, the ability to multitask efficiently, and the flexibility to manage interruptions and changing priorities while maintaining a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist showroom customers, creating a welcoming and professional experience.
• Assist customers with viewing, comparing, and selecting countertop materials and provide basic product guidance.
• Answer incoming calls, respond to customer inquiries, and provide helpful information.
• Ask questions to understand customer projects and qualify sales opportunities.
• Schedule in-home consultations, showroom appointments, and other sales appointments as appropriate.
• Accurately enter and maintain customer, project, material, and appointment information in the company CRM/customer database.
• Document customer interactions and project information. Communicate follow-up needs for the sales and gallery teams.
• Manage appointment scheduling and customer communications through Outlook, email, and the CRM.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting showroom.
• Support the sales and gallery teams with additional administrative and customer service needs.

Requirements

• Friendly, professional, and confident communication style.
• Strong telephone and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable asking questions, qualifying customer needs, and scheduling appointments.
• Interested in helping customers with material and design selections.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable learning and consistently using a CRM/customer database.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and email.
• Prior customer service, sales support, or administrative experience preferred.
• Interest in countertops, home design, or building materials is a plus.
• Comfortable being customer facing in an inside-sales environment
• Available Monday–Friday and rotating every third Saturday.
