We are seeking a Chef to add to our dynamic team! As a Chef, you will be the creative and operational leader responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences that delight guests and uphold the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring that every dish meets the restaurant’s standards for taste, appearance, and safety. This role requires you to develop innovative menus that balance creativity with cost efficiency while catering to diverse dietary preferences and seasonal availability. You will lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment that promotes continuous learning and adherence to food safety regulations. Ultimately, your expertise will drive the reputation and success of the dining establishment by consistently delivering fine dining experiences that exceed customer expectations.


Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and execute menus that reflect culinary trends and customer preferences while maintaining cost controls
  • Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure timely service
  • Manage and train kitchen staff, including head chefs and line cooks, to maintain high standards of food quality and safety
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with management and suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and optimize inventory management


Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef, Head Chef, or Executive Chef in a professional kitchen setting
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, recipes, and fine dining standards
  • Demonstrated ability to develop menus and manage food service operations effectively
  • Comprehensive understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse kitchen team in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or certification from an accredited institution
  • Experience working in upscale or fine dining establishments
  • Proficiency in inventory management and cost control software
  • Knowledge of dietary restrictions and allergen management
  • Previous experience in menu development with a focus on seasonal and locally sourced ingredients
