Job Description
Summary/objective
The Non-Ferrous Laborer is responsible for supporting the Non-Ferrous Sorter in sorting and processing non-ferrous materials, including aluminum, copper, brass, and stainless steel.
Essential functions

•Assist the Non-Ferrous Sorter in sorting and processing non-ferrous materials.
•Prepare materials for sale by segregating and cleaning
•Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and tracking the movement of materials
•Foster positive relationships with customers and vendors to encourage repeat business and maintain a positive reputation in the industry
•Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations regarding salvage yard operations
•Maintain a safe and clean work environment
•Perform other duties as assigned by management
