Job Description
Social Factor is looking for a remote, US-based or UK based, temporary/part-time Social Media Community Moderator with experience in social media moderation. We'd love to hear from you if you have interest in working with us on a project/gig or temporary basis. We offer flexible schedules to fit all lifestyles. Some of our work is 24/7 so if you are an early bird or a night owl, we may have something for you! The Community Moderator role will work to develop strong, growing, digital communities for some of the world's most well-known brands as work becomes available.
We are hiring from the following states in the US: Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
Temporary Community Moderator Requirements:
- Previous social media moderation experience is required
- Sprinklr certification, Hootsuite, and/or Sprout Social experience is also a plus
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking abilities, and able to follow clear guidelines and workflows
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience engaging with users on behalf of the client (ability to mirror voice/tone of multiple brands)
- Excellent spelling and grammar skills (a moderation & skills assessment (language assessment if applicable) will be given for final candidates)
- Strong willingness to learn and think critically; a proactive approach
- High energy with the capability to multitask in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization
- Interact with users in real-time, answering questions and appropriately engaging in discussion and troubleshooting efforts
- Knowledge of and experience with the major social media platforms: Youtube, FB, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
- Personal computer with minimum of Windows 10 and macOS 12.X
- Personal internet speed requirement of a minimum of 150 mbps
- Personal computer with Authenticator requirement of Apple Touch ID or Windows Hello (Camera ability)
