The Role

This is a commercially accountable role at the heart of Plexus's growth. You'll own a portfolio of Australia's most recognisable enterprise clients — and the revenue that comes with them.


Plexus grows by deepening the value we deliver to the customers we already have. The Account Manager owns that motion — securing renewals that reflect real platform value, and driving expansion into new use cases and business units.


You'll report directly to Josh Barker, Head of Account Management. He's built this function and is hiring AMs who want to be coached into commercial leaders.


What You'll Do
  • Own renewal and expansion performance across a defined portfolio of enterprise accounts
  • Run structured expansion motions from discovery through to demo and close
  • Build multi-threaded relationships in every key account — day-to-day contact, executive sponsor, and economic buyer
  • Identify at-risk accounts early and lead the recovery plan
  • Keep Salesforce clean enough that the whole commercial team can trust the data
  • Bring competitive and market insight back to the Commercial team


What We're Looking For

Non-negotiables

  • Proven commercial track record — you've owned renewals, run expansion motions, and held a revenue number
  • Executive presence — credible at GC and C-suite level, invited into strategic conversations not just operational ones
  • Stakeholder fluency — you've operated multi-threaded across complex accounts before
  • Genuinely curious about AI and already using it to create leverage in your work — self-initiated, not waiting to be told

Ideal but flexible

  • 2–4 years in Account Management, Customer Success, or a commercial role in SaaS or professional services
  • Structured sales methodology — Challenger, MEDDIC, or equivalent
  • Experience with senior legal, marketing, procurement, or digital stakeholders
